Britain’s biggest motorcycle and scooter show, Motorcycle Live in association with Bikesure Insurance, returns to NEC Birmingham from 18-26 November.
Motorcycle Live in association with Bikesure Insurance will host all of the latest 2024-model motorcycles with stands from over 45 motorcycle manufacturers ready to tempt you into trading-up for the new year. So if you want to see the all-new BMW R1300GS in the flesh, Kawasaki’s revolutionary Ninja 7 Hybrid, the Ducati DesertX Rally, Triumph Speed and Scrambler 400 and many, many, more all under one roof - Motorcycle Live is the place to be.
The Black Horse Stage, which is located in the heart of the show, will be hosting interviews with riders (BSB day is Sunday 19 November) and there will also be regular quizzes, interviews with two-wheeled celebrities, games and experts on hand to answer your riding/maintenance/racing questions. It’s the perfect place to stop, grab a bite to eat or quick drink, and just sit back and be entertained.
The National Motorcycle Museum is bringing a dazzling array of classic bikes to the show as part of the Classic Feature. Not only that, experts from the museum will be on hand to chat about the bikes on display. Why not pop over and test their knowledge? And if you want to visit the museum itself, which has over 1000 machines on display and is located just a stone’s throw from the NEC, visitors to Motorcycle Live can get a half-price ticket.
Saturday 25 November at Motorcycle Live in association with Bikesure Insurance is dedicated to celebrating two-wheeled FIM World Champions from a multitude of disciplines. Stars such as Carl Fogarty, James Toseland, Jonathan Rea and Dave Thorpe are all set to be interviewed by James Whitham on the Black Horse Stage. Get your autograph book ready, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
The Test Ride Zone is back for 2023, giving riders the chance to try out new road bikes from a selection of leading manufacturers for free. And if you fancy trying a bit of off-road riding, Experience Adventure is an indoor adventure skills course designed to introduce riders to adventure riding on a dedicated off road course, while there is also an Electric Test Ride Zone full of electric two-wheelers for you to sample. Best of all, you don’t even need to take your kit, everything you require to ride the demo bikes will be supplied for free.
Bookings are only taken at the show for the Test Ride events, so get there early to secure a place, some have licence requirements so remember to take your licence.
No licence? You can ride a bike for the first time! The MCIA TryRide in association with MCN offers free motorcycle lessons with a professional instructor to anyone aged 14 or over with all the kit you need supplied for free.
The show is packed full of trade stands with everything from paddocks stands to helmets, riding garments, intercoms, bike covers and custom-made earplugs on sale.
