Cadbury World is giving guests the chance to get their hands on their very own iconic Chuckle Bean from the nostalgic Cadabra ride.
As visitors of Cadbury World will know, a much-loved feature of the attraction’s Cadabra ride is the village of smiling cocoa bean characters – known as Chuckle Beans – who playfully guide guests on a magical journey through their world, or ‘Beanville.’
Cadabra contains a huge variety of different Chuckle Beans in fun settings, including fishing, skiing, in the bath, pillow-fighting, at school, having a picnic, ice skating and even a yeti bean!
Guests will have their last chance to see the beans in action in their current setting on the Cadabra ride before it closes and is replaced with the recently announced new immersive chocolatey ride Cadbury Chocolate Quest in the Spring.
Cadabra first opened its car-doors in 1997 and since then more than 14 million guests have experienced it, including famous faces such as The Princess Royal, Adele and Gwyneth Paltrow.
With the departure of Cadabra looming, the Chuckle Beans are coming to the end of their 27-year-long careers, and Cadbury World is offering a chance for people to become the new caretakers of the beloved beans.
To be in with a chance of winning this money can’t buy piece of Cadbury World history, guests are asked to submit their best memories of Cadbury World by clicking here. The lucky re-homers will be alerted of their new ownership and their Chuckle Bean will be delivered to their door.
The new trackless indoor ride forms part of a wider £8 million investment in Cadbury World by Merlin Entertainments which will be rolled out over the course of this year.
Guests will see extensive enhancements to the interactive Have a Go zone, a completely revamped Bournville Experience and an upgraded Advertising Avenue. Guests can also experience the 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema, chocolate making demonstrations, and plenty more chocolatey fun!
