The Regent Theatre has announced that Kai Owen will be returning to Stoke-on-Trent this December in this year’s Christmas pantomime, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.

Kai joins previously announced panto stars Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson, with the pantomime running from Friday 9 - Saturday 31 December 2022.

Kai is best known for his portrayal of Rhys in the worldwide hit series Torchwood created by Russell T Davies. In 2015 Kai was cast as Pete on Channel 4's Hollyoaks.  His other television credits include Rocketman, Fun at the Funeral Parlour, Casualty, Waterloo Road, Being Human, The Syndicate and Doctors (BBC) and Doc Martin (ITV).

Kai is a familiar face to Stoke-on-Trent audiences having appeared in a number of pantomimes on the Regent stage. Helping to bring the tale of Peter Pan to life, Kai will be playing the role of Starkey and bringing all his usual hijinks and humour to the stage.

Brought to audiences by the World’s biggest pantomime producer, Crossroads Pantomimes, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan will feature all the madcap mayhem Stoke audiences have come to expect from The Regent’s Christmas spectacular, with incredible special effects, stunning song and dance and plenty of audience participation.
