Churchill Forge water mill was one of the last working water powered forge mills in Britain, producing metal tools such as spades, shovels and ladles until the early 1970s.

Since closing as a going concern it has been maintained by a group of volunteers as an important example of the industrial heritage of the West Midlands.

The forge is opened to the public at selected days through the summer when visitors can see the water wheels turning. Open days are normally held on Easter Monday and the on the second Sunday of each of the following months until October, except August.

Visits by private groups are possible by arrangement and members of the trust are also happy to present on the history of the forge at meetings of clubs and societies.
