The Malvern Water and Well Dressing Festival is set to return this May.
The popular festival, which will be held from 4 - 12 May, will see many wells, springs and spouts creatively decorated according to a selected theme. This year the theme is ‘Trees’ - with wells dressed in everything green and arboreal.
The annual event celebrates the history of the Malvern Hills, from its iconic spring water and Victorian Water Cure to the area’s ancient Pagan traditions. It is brought to the town by the Malvern Spa Association with local businesses and community groups taking part. Last year's event saw over 800 people took part in dressing the wells, springs and sprouts.
The Water Festival family fun day and well dressing prize giving event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday May Day with a combination of family fun activities, live music, street entertainers and more.
