Tessa Peake-Jones, Ruth Madoc and Paul Nicholas are to join the cast for Deborah Moggach’s celebrated show, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, when it visits Wolverhampton next year.
Tessa Peake-Jones (Raquel in BBC 1’s Only Fools and Horses, ITV’s Grantchester) will perform as Evelyn, Ruth Madoc (Gladys Pugh in BBC 1’s Hi-de-Hi!and Little Britain; Calendar Girls UK Tour) will appear as Muriel and Paul Nicholas (Jesus Christ Superstar, BBC 1’s Just Good Friends, EastEnders, The Real Marigold Hotel) plays Douglas.
They join Tiran Aakel who performs as Mr Gupta, Rekha John-Cheriyan as Mrs Kapoor, Shila Iqbal as Sahani, Kerena Jagpal as Kamila, Sally Knyvette as Jean, Nishad More as Sonny Kapoor, Anant Varmanas Mohan and Adam Morris and Julie Woodwho join the company as male and female understudies.
