Coventry’s finest, Guz Khan, brings his big-screen persona and BAFTA-nominated hilarity to Wolverhampton Grand with his brand-new stand up show Guz Khan Live.
Former school teacher Guz Khan shot to relative fame a handful of years ago after seeing his YouTube clips go viral. Since then, the only way has been up for the one-time Humanities teacher.
“I think it’s important to push against boundaries with comedy,” says Guz. “And although I like to make people laugh while exploring issues such as religion, race and gender, I’m not somebody who’s looking to cause offence just because I can.”
Guz is the creator and star of BBC’s Man Like Mobeen, alongside his appearances on Taskmaster (Channel 4), The Last Leg (Channel 4), Live at the Apollo (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave), Turn Up Charlie (Netflix), Netflix movies Army of Thieves and The Bubble, and much more.
Guz Khan visits Wolverhampton Grand on 29 January 2023. Tickets are on sale here.
