Casting is announced for the National Theatre’s critically-acclaimed production of The Ocean at the End of the Lane, which shows at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from Tuesday 26 – Saturday 30 September 2023.

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre will also be hosting a Relaxed Performance of the play on Thursday 28 September at 2:30pm. This will be the only Relaxed Performance on the tour.

Adapted by Joel Horwood and directed by Katy Rudd, this is a thrilling adventure of fantasy, myth and friendship.

The cast includes, Daniel Cornish, Trevor Fox, Emma-Jane Goodwin, Paolo Guidi, Millie Hikasa, Lewis Howard, Kemi-Bo Jacobs, Ronnie Lee, Aimee McGoldrick, Laurie Ogden, Keir Ogilvy, and more.

Returning to his childhood home, a man finds himself standing beside the pond of the old Sussex farmhouse where he used to play. He's transported to his 12th birthday when his remarkable friend Lettie claimed it wasn't a pond, but an ocean – a place where everything is possible...

Plunged into a magical world, their survival depends on their ability to reckon with ancient forces that threaten to destroy everything around them.
