The Rusty Players Orchestra Black Country are on the look out for new players to join the group.

Back in 2019, The People’s Orchestra introduced a new ensemble called The Rusty Players Orchestra. The idea behind the group is to provide mentoring and performance opportunities for musicians who feel ‘a little rusty.’ Rusty could include people who have not played for a while, have just started on an instrument, or simply lack confidence.

Rusty’s provides a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for musicians to have fun making music. Mistakes are encouraged, as they are the best way of improving and confidence is boosted.

The Black Country group rehearses at Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton on Tuesday evenings from 7 - 9pm. So, if you feel ‘a little rusty’ but want to have fun playing music from film, TV, musicals, and the charts, you can sign up for a 2-week free trial at thepeoplesorchestra.com/the-rusty-players-orchestra.
