The purpose-built Lichfield Garrick Theatre opened in 2003 and has a main auditorium seating more than 500 people and a 157-seat studio theatre. Annually presenting a programme of 400-plus performances that features its own productions as well as touring shows, the venue was named after legendary 18th century actor David Garrick, who was brought up in Lichfield.
