Uttoxeter's Nelson's Distillery have announced the launch of its first-ever Rum School, taking place Saturday 24 June.

Following the success of their award-winning Gin & Vodka School, now rum enthusiasts will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the enticing and complex world of their favourite tipple.

The Rum School offers an immersive journey into the history, production, and flavour profiles of the spirit. Guests will have the chance to learn about the various types of rum, their unique origins, and the intricacies of the distillation process.

One of the core features of Nelson's Rum School is the hands-on distilling experience. Students will have the opportunity to distil their own unique blend of rum, guided by expert distillers. Discovering how to create a rum that aligns with your personal taste preferences, playing with a variety of spices and botanicals to achieve a bespoke spirit you can take home to enjoy.

Plus they will be able to sample a range of Nelson's own rums, each exquisitely crafted by the Master Distiller Neil Harrison, while learning how to perfectly pair rum with mixers and garnishes.

Additional Rum School dates include Saturday 22 July and Friday 18 August.
