Amateur theatre group, Shrewsbury Musical Theatre Company, are producing the Shropshire premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash-hit musical School of Rock this autumn and they’re inviting youngsters to register their interest for child roles in the show.
The group are interested in hearing from kids age 9-14 who can act, sing, dance, and, for certain lead roles, also play musical instruments. Auditions are scheduled for Saturday 20 May.
The show will run from 15-18 November 2023 at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury and rehearsals begin in June.
