Award-winning Mexican street-food restaurant Plan Burrito has opened on 29 Castle Street in Shrewsbury.

Serving up burritos, tacos, nachos and churros, the venue’s opening times are Monday to Thursday 11am to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 11am to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 9pm.

In a statement, Plan Burrito said: “After being disappointed at what the high street had to offer when it came to Tex-Mex food, we decided to create Plan Burrito, to bring the best flavours of Latin America whilst keeping true to the authentic experience that you would find in a traditional taqueria.

“Unlike similar brands, we promise not to charge you extra for the fillings that you want.”
