This popular family attraction is a veritable wonderland of chocolate delights and activities.
Start the chocaholic’s dream journey in Aztec Jungle, where you’ll travel back more than 1,000 years to the tropical rainforest of the Mayan Indians and discover the origin of the cocoa tree.
Head for Europe next, to find out about the arrival of cocoa in England, then visit Bull Street, where John Cadbury opened his first shop.
Other attractions at the Bournville-located visitor attraction include a 4D Chocolate Adventure, Cadabra Ride, Purple Planet, African Adventure Play Area and the world's biggest Cadbury shop!
Ring the bells, for Christmas is here! If the winter gloom is taking its toll and you’re counting down the days until the holidays – as we are – then a festive afternoon tea at Cadbury World might just be what you need.
Visitors to Birmingham’s favourite chocolate attraction can book in for this special treat. Take a tour of the chocolatey ‘zones’, then it’s off to the Cadbury Café where you’ll be whisked into your own special seating area - and on comes the spread!
The three-tiered cake stand is loaded with daintily two-tone sandwiches packed with smoked salmon and cream cheese, turkey and cranberry, ham and mustard and cheese and pickle.
Then it’s the cakes, and please come with an empty stomach, for you have to much your way through an enormous fruited scone with clotted cream and jam, chocolate muffins with iced holly and berries, macarons, Christmas cake, mini mince pies, shortbreads and rocky road.
This isn’t one of those pretentious afternoon teas – we’re at a family attraction after all – but is friendly, great fun and good value: £19.99 per person, which includes entry to Cadbury World. Plus you’ll leave with a handbag stuffed full with curly-wurly and crunchies. What’s not to like?!
