Rap icon Ice Cube makes his long-overdue return to British shores, bringing his High Rollers tour to Birmingham this December.
The Hip Hop OG is enlisting fellow rap legends Cypress Hill and The Game, making this one of the year’s must-see events for UK rap fans.
Ice Cube has a unique legacy as one of the most politically outspoken rappers of all time, he comes to UK shores with more to say than ever.
After penning the most memorable lyrics on N.W.A’s groundbreaking songs Straight Outta Compton and Fuck Tha Police Ice Cube left the group at the peak of its popularity to pursue one of the most successful careers in music history. As a solo recording artist, he has sold more than 10 million albums while remaining one of rap’s most respected and influential artists and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
Joining him will be the legendary Cypress Hill, who burst on the scene in 1991 and are the first Latino-American hip-hop group to achieve platinum and multi-platinum success. Since the release of Black Sunday, Cypress Hill have put out seven more albums including 2018’s critically acclaimed, Elephants on Acid. Cypress Hill made history once again in 2019 when the group was honored with their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Ice Cube, Cypress Hill and The Game play Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on Wednesday 3 December. Tickets are on sale here.
