A new, festive show from world-renowned dance-circus company Motionhouse comes to MAC from Thursday 16 November to Saturday 30 December.

Blast off into the galaxy with the Starchitects, an adventurous group of friends who leave their cosy sleepover to embark on a daring rescue mission. With a mix of gravity-defying choreography, amazing digital projections, and magical characters for you to meet, Starchitects Save Santa is a visual spectacle like no other.

Dive into the magic of childhood imagination where anything is possible when the empty boxes from Christmas presents can transform into a rocket and take you on countless thrilling adventures. Full of fun and surprises, and sprinkled with humour, Starchitects Save Santa is an exciting intergalactic Christmas story the whole family will enjoy!

For select performances, children and families are invited to Stay and Play with games and props from the show, or have the opportunity to meet the characters. There will be a number of BSL and Relaxed performances during the show’s run.

Motionhouse creates astonishing full-length productions for theatre touring and for outdoor spaces, festivals and large-scale performance events with jaw-dropping digital projections. The renowned organisation presents performances that are rooted in dance but draw on theatre, acrobatics, circus and film.
