Birmingham’s rich diversity is being celebrated in a new outdoor photographic exhibition.

Entitled In Common, the project has been created in partnership with Birmingham-born artist & photographer Maryam Wahid. It features a series of portraits of people living or working in and around the city’s Edgbaston area, all of whom have connections to the Commonwealth and contribute to making Birmingham a diverse, cultural and thriving city.

Alongside each portrait, members of the public are able to interact further with the exhibition by scanning a QR code, which will allow them to read people’s stories.

The outdoor photographic exhibition will be on display until 2023, next to Edgbaston Stadium and Midlands Arts Cebtre, on the site of Corkfield’s new development for modern, urban apartments.
